Being Social

A poem about who has control, and how we have given it willingly.

Connections passing emotions triggered by trolls.
Fueled by tools,
Delivered by fools.

Controlling access to community and love,
Methods that help and destroy just the same.
With so much potential, sometimes just pain.

It’s lifting our voices to the world.
Where we once learned from a specialist,
Now we listen to a nihilist.
